About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with children, teens, and their families in both New York and Connecticut. I have worked in schools and privately with children and families providing emotional support, play based therapy, behavior support plans, and targeting coping strategies for those struggling with anxiety, ADHD, new transitions, or those struggling with managing their emotions. I believe in working with the whole child, so collaborating with parents, school, and other professionals your child may work with.

I’m also a mom of three and a therapist for moms. I believe getting support as a mom should be easy and available. Getting out the door when you’re pregnant, with a newborn, or with coordinating your older childrens’ schedules can be hard. If you are local, I’m available to come to you or see you via tele therapy.

Why work with me ?

I believe in meeting each client where he or she is and tailoring our treatment goals and session structure to those unique needs.  Identifying client strengths and areas for growth are at the forefront of my work with each client.  I bring a wide variety of experience to my practice.  In my past, I've worked with children starting as young as 18 months old up until adolescents in a variety of settings, including private homes, a private practice running individual sessions and social skill groups, and in both preschool and elementary schools. In addition, I have received certificate training from The Seleni Institute in both Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and Perinatal Loss and Grief.
